Cheese fondue with TERANA spices
Ingredients
This recipe for "TERANA Spiced Cheese Fondue" is a delicious and perfect option to share with dad on his day. - 400 g grated Gruyère cheese - 200 g of grated Emmental or Raclette cheese - 200 ml of dry white wine - 1 tablespoon cornstarch - 1 clove of minced garlic - 1/2 teaspoon TERANA ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon TERANA ground nutmeg - 1 pinch of TERANA sweet paprika - 1 pinch of ground TERANA chipotle chili (optional) - Sliced baguette bread to accompany
Preparation
1. In a small container, mix the cornstarch with a little white wine until completely dissolved.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat the remaining white wine over medium heat.
3. Add the grated Gruyère cheese and Emmental cheese to the mulled wine, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add the dissolved cornstarch and wine mixture, and continue stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Season with minced garlic, TERANA ground black pepper, TERANA ground nutmeg, TERANA sweet paprika and TERANA ground chipotle chili (optional), to taste.
5. Transfer the fondue mixture to a fondue pot or heatproof bowl over a small flame.
6. Serve the fondue hot with sliced baguette bread for dipping.
