Fresh sausages with apple
Ingredients
8 fresh sausages
+ 1 apple
+ 1 onion
+ Salt
+ TERANA Thyme
+ Olive oil
+ TERANA Pepper
Preparation
1. Cut the onion into julienne strips and fry in a pan with a dash of olive oil.
2. Clean the apple, cut it in half, remove the core and then cut it into thin slices with the help of a knife.
3. When the onion is fried, add the apple and season with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Add the thyme and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until the apple has softened.
5. While the apple is cooking, cook the sausages on the grill until they are golden on the outside and cooked through.
6. Finally, add the sausages to the pan with the apple and onion and cook over medium heat for another 2 minutes.
You can serve the sausages with apple piping hot, but they are a dish that you can reheat without any problem, since their texture or flavor will not change as a result.
