Stuffed turkey with TERANA spices

TERANA Stuffed Turkey with Spices

- 1 turkey, approximately 6 kg - TERANA salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 tablespoon butter - 1/2 teaspoon TERANA ground nutmeg - 1/4 teaspoon TERANA ground cinnamon - 1 large apple, chopped - 1 large onion, chopped - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs - 1 egg - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley - Chopped fresh sage to taste - 1/2 cup chicken broth - Bay leaves

1. Prepare the stuffing: In a large bowl, mix the chopped apple, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped fresh parsley, chopped sage, salt, and pepper.
2. Season the turkey: Remove excess moisture from the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels. Spread butter under the skin and sprinkle with TERANA nutmeg and cinnamon.
3. Stuff the turkey: Fill the turkey cavity with the prepared mixture. Close the opening with toothpicks and tie the legs with kitchen string.
4. Bake: Place the turkey on a baking sheet and pour the chicken broth around it. Add the bay leaves. Bake at 180°C for approximately 3 hours or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 75°C.
5. Rest: Remove the turkey from the oven and cover with aluminum foil. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes before carving.
