Anise-spiced carajillo

A sophisticated and aromatic take on the carajillo, where TERANA star anise infuses a subtle sweet, anise-flavored flavor into the classic coffee and liqueur cocktail. ☕🥃

Ingredients

- 60 ml Liqueur 43 (or similar sweet vanilla and citrus liqueur) - 60 ml freshly brewed and chilled espresso - 1 Terana star anise - Ice - Orange peel for garnish

Preparation

1. In a rocks glass filled with ice, pour the 43 liqueur.
2. Add the TERANA star anise to the glass. Let it steep for a few seconds to release its aroma.
3. Slowly pour the cooled espresso over the liqueur and ice.
Stir gently.
4. Optionally, you can lightly flame a piece of orange peel over the drink to release its oils and then drop it into the glass as a garnish.
