Sausage mummies
Ingredients
We share with you sausage mummies, a perfect recipe for this season! It is very easy and quick to prepare and will allow you to make a nice nod to the Halloween celebration.
+ 1 sheet of puff pastry
+ 5 pieces of Frankfurt sausages
+ 1 egg
+ Ketchup
+ Mustard
+ TERANA whole pepper
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface.
3. Cut the dough into thin strips, half a centimetre thick.
4. Wrap the sausages with the puff pastry strips, leaving a space for the mummy's 'face'.
5. Brush the puff pastry with a previously beaten egg.
6. Bake at 180ºC for about 15 minutes, until the puff pastry is golden.
7. Leave to cool so that the mummies harden and make the 'eyes' with a pinch of mustard and some TERANA black peppercorns on top.
8. Place a container with ketchup to accompany the mummies.
