Beet Hummus Toasts
Ingredients
● 1 teaspoon TERANA ground cumin ● TERANA ground black pepper ● 1 avocado ● 1/2 lemon ● 250 g cooked beets ● 120 g chickpeas ● 1/2 onion ● 1 clove of garlic ● 2 slices of whole wheat bread ● Salt to taste ● Broccoli to taste ● Extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
1.Drain the chickpeas. Peel and chop the garlic clove and onion finely. Coarsely chop the beet.
2.Place everything in the blender along with the cumin, lemon juice and a splash of olive oil. Make sure to mix looking for a creamy texture. Add salt and pepper to taste.
3.Cut the avocado into thin strips.
4.Toast the slices of bread and while it is still hot, spread a bed of beet hummus, place the slices of avocado or broccoli, decorating it to your liking.
