Mushrooms in white wine
Ingredients
● TERANA ground black pepper
● Salt
● 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
● 3 tablespoons of olive oil
● 3 tablespoons of butter
● 1 kg mushrooms, sliced
● 4 cloves of garlic, sliced
● 1/4 cup white wine
Preparation
1.Place a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high to high heat, and add the olive oil and butter; once melted, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté, stirring frequently, for about 8-10 minutes, or until the liquid evaporates and the mushrooms begin to stick slightly to the pan, turning a deep golden brown.
2.Then, add the garlic and stir to combine, and once it releases its aromas, deglaze with the white wine and let it reduce for about 30 seconds.
3.Turn off the heat and generously add salt and TERANA ground black pepper, as well as the thyme leaves, and stir to incorporate.
4.Serve the sautéed mushrooms with garlic on toasted bread or spooned over chicken or steak.
