Chickpea and spice hummus

Ingredients

● 60 g of TERANA sesame seeds (must be toasted)
● 5 g of TERANA ground cumin
● 400 g cooked chickpeas
● 70 g extra virgin olive oil
● 50 ml of water
● 1 clove of garlic
● Salt (approx. 5 g)
● 30 g lemon juice
● 100 g of natural yogurt (optional)
● TERANA sweet paprika (optional)

Preparation

Hummus is a typical Moroccan food, and here in Mexico we love to eat it as a snack or even with some vegetables or salad and what's better than a homemade hummus, with natural ingredients and no preservatives. 1.Wash the chickpeas to remove the liquid in which they are submerged in the preserve. Drain them well and blend them together with the peeled garlic, sesame seeds, cumin, salt, lemon juice and water.
2. Blend until you obtain a semi-homogeneous mass before adding the extra virgin olive oil. Blend for a few minutes or until you obtain a creamy mixture.
3.(You can add more creaminess to the chickpea hummus if you add a little natural yogurt)
4.The consistency of hummus is very personal, so you can add more water and/or oil until you get the texture you want.
5.When serving, drizzle with a splash of virgin olive oil, various seeds, TERANA sweet paprika or whatever you like best.
