Pickled cucumbers

Ingredients
● 1 TERANA broken bay leaf
● 1/2 teaspoon TERANA turmeric
● 1 tablespoon TERANA mustard seeds
● 2 tablespoons of peppercorns, pink and black
● 1/2 teaspoon TERANA thyme
● 2-3 small cucumbers, perfectly washed
● 250 ml of wine vinegar
● 250 ml of water
● 4 tablespoons of salt (some more for the cucumbers)
Preparation
1.Cut the cucumbers into strips or slices and put them in a strainer with a handful of salt, stir and set aside so that the cucumber releases all the water.
2.In a previously sterilized glass container, put the vinegar, water, mustard seeds, turmeric, bay leaf, salt, pepper and let it boil for a few minutes. Booking.
3.Add the cucumbers, filling well in an orderly manner so that as much as possible enters. *Leave at least 2 cm free below the lid.
4.Once the cucumbers have been placed in the jars, add the liquid and add the thyme.
Close and proceed to put them in a bain-marie for perfect conservation.
Tip: If you are going to consume them soon, you can skip this step, but if you make a large quantity it is the best way to keep them for as long as possible.
