Meatballs in the garden
Ingredients
- 24 homemade meatballs
400 g fresh or frozen peas
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
400 g homemade tomato sauce
Salt
TERANA Pepper
·Olive oil
Preparation
1.The first step will be to shape the meatballs. To do this you can use the type of minced meat that you like the most (chicken, turkey, pork and/or beef).
2.Next, cook the peas in plenty of water with a pinch of salt. When they start to become tender, drain them.
3.While the peas are cooking, heat a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and brown the meatballs. Start with high heat so that they are sealed on the outside, but when they have taken on color, reduce the heat so that they are also cooked on the inside. When they are ready, remove from the pan and set aside.
4.In the same oil, fry the finely chopped onion and garlic over medium heat. This process should take you approximately 12 minutes.
5.When the onion is transparent, add the tomato sauce (preferably homemade), the meatballs and the peas. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook over medium heat for about 10 more minutes.
6.Serve the meatballs with peas very hot.
