Ideal for a vegan dinner, these tofu meatballs in sauce will help you go to bed feeling light 💤 100 g fine oat flakes 10 g corn flour 125g firm smoked tofu 70 g of CIRIO double concentrated tomato puree 1 onion 1 teaspoon TERANA sweet paprika 1 teaspoon salt with TERANA celery TERANA ground black pepper Nutritional yeast (optional) Extra virgin olive oil 2 tablespoons of chickpea flour + 4 teaspoons of water Breadcrumbs*
1. In a bowl, mix the oat flakes, corn flour, smoked paprika, ground black pepper, nutritional yeast and salt with celery.
2. Add the double tomato concentrate and integrate the mixture well. Booking.
3. Using a blender, blend the smoked tofu and chop the onion very finely. Add it to the oatmeal mixture. Mix well until you achieve a compact dough.
4. With your hands, take equal portions of dough and shape them into a meatball.
5. In a small bowl, mix the chickpea flour with the water. Moisten the meatballs and coat them with breadcrumbs (you can do it directly with whole wheat flour or chickpea flour and skip the step of moistening them).
6. Pass them through the pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, add your favorite sauce and that's it!
