Gingerbread cookies

Ingredients
● 4 cups all-purpose flour
● 1 cup unsalted butter
● 1 cup brown sugar
● 2/3 cup molasses
● 2 eggs
● 1/3 cup cornstarch
● 2 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon
● 2 teaspoons ground ginger
● ¾ teaspoon salt
Glazed
● 1 ½ cup sifted powdered sugar
● 1 teaspoon vanilla
● 1 ½ tablespoons of water
Preparation
1.Beat the butter with the sugar, molasses, eggs, cornstarch, cinnamon, ginger, salt and a third of the flour.
2.Add the rest of the flour, little by little and beating well between each addition.
3.Stretch the dough between two sheets of wax paper until it reaches half a centimeter thick. Cut the dough with a cookie cutter.
4.Arrange the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes.
5.Mix all the ingredients for the glaze until you have a liquid but thick consistency. Use the frosting to decorate the cookies once they are completely cool.
